Welcome to the “What’s Wrong With My...” series of books. These books are written by a veterinarian with the intention for anyone who keeps some of these common animals as pets to be able to recognize the common signs of illness and know immediate first aid where possible. These books serve as a great first reference for commonly seen problems and will help get you started treating them. However, no reference book can adequately substitute for the services of a qualified veterinarian. These books let you know when to seek those services.
